Thermal Coat

The Thermal Coat is characterized by its utilization of phase change materials (PCM), which directly encase temperature-sensitive goods. This qualified pallet solution can be used multiple times and enhances product safety during sea and air freight transportation. For example, it mitigates short-term temperature fluctuations. In a sea freighter with active cooling, the Thermal Coat provides an additional 24-hour buffer in case of power failures or during transit. On the tarmac, when equipped with the corresponding Thermal Coat Equipment, it can mitigate unplanned temperature spikes for up to seven hours. The use of va-Q-gel (gelled PCM) offers several advantages, including the avoidance of liquid substances in aircraft, reduced weight, and enhanced leakage safety.
