The high
quality of VIPs from va-Q-tec is established by
- wrapping an additional air-breathable but powder-tight fleece around
the insulation core
- heating and drying the insulation core before evacuation in
order to reach an extremely low starting pressure and provide
a long life time of the VIP
- using the best high barrier films and foils available on the
market to secure a minimum increase of gas pressure with time and
a long life time; regularly tests of the film properties are performed
- a 100 % control of all VIPs before shipping the products to
the customer
