The semi-active va-Q-sol thermal container
The va-Q-tec AG has developed a portfolio of thermal packaging products. The semi-active va-Q-sol thermal container was part of a project founded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU - German Environmental Foundation). In the framework of an international DBU School project the well known Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS) gave an extensive report on this project in the issue dated August 5, 2007.

Mit der Zulassungsnummer Z-23.11-1658 wurde den Vakuumdämmplatten va-Q-vip vom
Deutschen Institut für Bautechnik die allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung erteilt.

European Research Project VACI on Vacuum Insulations has been Finished Successfully
The European Community has funded a co-operative research project on vacuum insulations for cold service equipment, with va-Q-tec as project co-ordinator (no. COOP-CT-2003-508026). The project lasted two years from February 2004 until January 2006. Seven international partners from industry and university had joined forces to develop new solutions for complex shaped vacuum insulation, especially for low temperature applications.
