Do I need VIPs?

    
       
  Are vacuum insulation panels suitable for my project or product? YES  
 
   1. Is high thermal insulation a prerequisite?
   2. Is there little space and / or is the space very valuable or expensive?
   3. Does the thermal insulation have to be as thin as possible due to a lack of space?
   4. Can the insulation be fitted without causing (a few) thermal bridges?
   5. Can the evacuated insulation be fitted as a rigid or slightly bent board?
   6. Are there or will there be regulations (in the foreseeable future) that require better insulation for my project or product?
   7. Can I install the vacuum insulation panels so that they are protected against mechanical damage?
   8. Would the vacuum insulation be exposed to temperatures below +80°C?
   9. Can I measure the board sizes needed so precisely that no subsequent alterations will be needed?
   10. Am I ready to spend more per square meter for the advantages of VIP than for cnventional insulation?
