Temperature Shock Resistance

The va-Q-tainer features temperature shock resistance. This means the container responds in a unique way to hot and cold shocks which are caused by rapid changes of the outside temperature. These rapid outside temperature changes lead to temperature changes inside the container. Due to excellent insulation materials implemented in the container shell the inside temperature change is delayed by 6 to 8 hours. Compared to the outside temperature shocks, the temperature change inside the container will be significantly reduced by as much as ten times.

Effect 1:
The inside temperature of the container is +5 °C. The outside temperature rises from +10 °C to +35 °C rapidly. The inside temperature will rise about 8 hours later from its initial temperature of +5 °C to +6.5 °C.
