va-Q-tec specialises in the large scale production of vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) and heat & cool storage elements containing phase change materials (PCMs). For the home appliance industry, our thermal engineering group offers thermal consulting and measurement services such as chamber measurements, k x A calculations and CAD simulations. This helps our customers find the most cost efficient solutions for their energy efficiency needs. With our unique VIP powder technique, we can make various shapes and surface indentations tailored to the needs of our customers.

The global construction industry is moving towards better insulated zerocarbon buildings with increased usable space. To solve the challenges of high insulation in constrained spaces, we offer vacuum insulation panels, which are five times thinner than conventional materials used in construction, while providing the same heat transfer coefficient. To ensure the quality of VIPs, our quality control process can help eliminate defective VIPs before installation. Our VIPs are especially economically viable when restrictions on building size and high energy standards are paired with high real estate prices.
