The laying of VIPs on a horizontal surface is a relatively easy matter.
Depending on the application case, a vapour barrier must be installed to protect against moisture.
- Lay 2-3 mm of PE foam film or similar on the floor
- Followed by va-Q-vip B vacuum insulation panels
- A protective layer of PE foam film or sound proof material
- Avoid footstep direct on VIPs
- Lay the vapour barrier film
- Plaster material (E.g. cements)
